ABOUT.
i first fell into poetry in high school, thanks to an english teacher with a perfect lesson plan and a well-timed introduction to t.s. eliot.

paired with whatever album was living in my headphones at the time, i started filling notebooks – not with polished work, but with the beginnings of a voice i didn’t know i had.

nearly twenty years later, writing is still my first impulse. it’s how i process everything – the mundane, the extraordinary, and every strange little detail in between. my work often circles themes of connection, memory, and grief (not always in a sullen way), as well as the quiet moments that often say more than they mean to.

i care deeply about honest conversations around mental health and use my own experiences as a platform to address them. my poems and books are my truths as i’ve lived them – sometimes captured in the moment, sometimes years later – left for whoever might need them.

these are the words i’ve found. i’m sure i’ll find more.
